The Penn State Agriculture Arena Contract requires that all dogs have proof of a current rabies vaccination.  When you check in, you will be required to show proof of your dog’s vaccination.  This is a Penn State Policy for all clubs that host events involving animals. Your rabies tag DOES NOT qualify as proof of vaccination.  Please do not bring your dog into the building until you have checked in and shown your rabies certification to me or Pam Klomp.

Please check your NADAC number and be sure it is correct.  If it has a hyphen on your card, it should have a hyphen on your confirmation.  Each character in the NADAC number is important.  Please be sure your NADAC number on your confirmation matches the NADAC number on your card. Please, please read your confirmation and verify that I have you entered correctly.  I am responsible for entering 500 runs a day.  I will most likely make an error somewhere. You are responsible for being sure I got “your” entry correct. If you have changes please email changes to :  vcubed@chilitech.net
Do not hit reply on your confirmation.

The building will be open each morning at 7:00. Please do not arrive any earlier. Daily check in and measuring FOR ALL COMPETITORS on Saturday and Sunday will be from 7:15 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. If you check in on Friday, you do not have to check in on Saturday or Sunday. Check in on Friday begins at 2:00.  You only need to check in one time on one day.  The briefings will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.  The first dog will be on the line shortly after the briefing. ALL COMPETITORS MUST CHECK IN EITHER FRIDAY AFTERNOON before their first run OR BETWEEN 7:15 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on Saturday or Sunday. For check-in please see me, Vickie Vander Vere, or Pam Klomp.

RING and EQUIPMENT SET UP:
If you would like to help set up the ring and unload the equipment from the trailer, please arrive at 12:00 on Friday afternoon.  Once the work is complete, workers may set up their crating spaces.

EXHIBITOR SETUP on FRIDAY:
Exhibitor setup on Friday will be open for everyone beginning at 2:00 p.m. Please do not arrive at the show site any earlier to set up your personal items ….. Unless you are coming at noon to help us with the ring set up.

FOOD:
Please bring food.  We will not have a food vendor at the trial.  There are many close restaurants for your convenience!

MOVE UPS:
We will accept move ups for 30 minutes after the last run of the day on Friday and Saturday.

CRATING
There is a beautiful indoor heated space for crating upstairs. Please minimize your crating space so that everyone will have a space to crate. We have many competitors and many dogs. Please be thoughtful.  There will be no crating downstairs.  All crating will be upstairs except for key workers and handicapped and/or veteran handlers.  Due to limited space downstairs, there will be no exceptions.  Please do not ask. :)

RUNNING ORDERS will be posted at the trial on Friday afternoon.

WORKERS SCHEDULE will be created as we go.  Please see Leslie Burgard your ring Princess to volunteer.  The volunteer system has been working great and I thank you all for being so helpful!

Hoss’s Homeless Shelter will be accepting gently used toys, blankets, towels, crates, food bowls, and other dog related items.  Leslie Burgard does a fantastic job saving canine lives and placing them in forever homes.  Your support is always appreciated.

I will be away from December 22nd to January 1st.  If you email me during this time frame, please know that I am away and will reply when I return.  I am wishing you all a very happy holiday season.  We do not have to look far to realize how fortunate we really are!  A brilliant man, Albert Einstein, said these words…”There are only two ways to live your life: one is as though nothing is a miracle; the other is as though everything is a miracle.”  Wishing you all an abundance of miracles!!

Thank you again for entering the CANINE KINSHIP trial!  Please bring a smile and a great attitude. We are happy people that enjoy playing with our dogs. We are looking forward to a fun weekend.  Drive safely.  Wags, Vickie Vander Vere/Canine Kinship

WORKERS:  Please volunteer to work and fill out the enclosed worker form. We truly appreciate all the help we get at trials as we could not put on trials without the help of volunteers. We do have heavy equipment and just the addition of one or two additional volunteers at course change time makes all the difference in the world!  We provide water and snacks for workers. If you have questions regarding ‘Trial Jobs’ a detailed description of each job is located at the following web site: http://inthezoneagility.homestead.com/jobs.html.

ENTRY ACCEPTANCE METHOD & OPENING DATE: Entries with postmarks BEFORE Opening date will not be accepted. Entry postmark date will be the determining factor for entry acceptance order. There is no need to overnight entries.
We reserve the right to refuse any entry. Anyone who is not currently in good standing with NADAC will not be allowed entry into the trial.  As noted above,  you can type in your entry information using the word premium.  If you are not typing the information ( or using a label ) please write clearly..especially your email address.  We send out confirmations, show instructions and results via email.  Please fill in your dogs jump height. Many people forget to add this information and I usually end up guessing at a height. The software requires both your dogs height at the withers and the jump height in which your dog is entered. If you have changed your email, mailing address, phone number, or any other information, please highlight it on your entry form.  EARTHLINK ISP USERS: If your Internet Service Provider is earthlink, please set your email to receive emails from vcubed@chilitech.net

Refunds are allowed if requested before the closing date. Refunds after the closing date will be honored only for bitches in season. A $5.00 processing fee per dog will be assessed for ANY refund.  No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reasons of riots, civil disturbances, fire, snow, acts of God, public emergency, an act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond our control.

ENTRY CHANGES: Please read over your confirmations carefully. We all make errors and we will certainily make corrections as long as we are notified prior to the Monday before the trial as that is when scribe sheets and running orders are printed.  Accepted entries may be changed up until  the Monday before the trial.  Email trial change requests to Vickie Vander Vere at vcubed@chilitech.net
NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE AT THE TRIAL so please check your confirmation carefully! Sunday move-ups do not constitute an entry change and will be happily accommodated!

IMPORTANT: Please check your dog’s NADAC registration number on your trial confirmation as soon as you receive it; also, please check the copy of the results posted at the trial. You should report any errors to the Trial Secretary immediately.
NADAC no longer hand checks for discrepancies in the records we send them at the end of the trial. Instead, they post the trial results to the files section of the NADACAgility@yahoogroups.com list within two weeks after receiving them from us. The trial results will remain on the list for at least thirty (30) days. Please accept the responsibility to review those results, and check that your registration number and qualifying points, as reported by the club, are correct. You can join the NADAC Agility list and set your settings to “no mail”. You’ll be able to view trial results and find discrepancies (if any) without receiving list mail. Contact NADAC only if your registration number or qualifying results are shown incorrectly on the list. Otherwise, you do not need to do anything.
Levels: Points earned at a higher level of a class, prior to the completion of the lower level title, will no longer be banked by NADAC for future use. As of June 1st, 2006 if a dog earns points in a level of a class that they are not eligible to title in, those points will not be added to the dog's records.
