‘Canine Kinship’ would like to thank you for entering our May NADAC agility trial. This email is your final confirmation prior to this trial. We are looking forward to a fun weekend!
We will have three classes on Friday afternoon/evening because we have added Hoopers. This means we will have Tunnelers, Weavers, and Hoopers on Friday. You may enter Hoopers on Friday and the cost will be $12 because this is an add-on class that was not in the premium. You may also enter the other Friday classes on Friday for $15 per run. We plan to begin running the Friday classes when the judge arrives. Hopefully, we will get started around 4:00 or a little earlier if the skies are friendly and the plane is on time!
Special Services: Canine Massage will be available at the trial provided by Nicolette Eaton of Performance Animal Massage. Please see Nicolette to schedule an appointment or email her in advance at: haynow101@hotmail.com
FOOD: Please bring your own food as we will not have a vendor at this trial.
RING and EQUIPMENT SET UP:
If you would like to help set up the ring and unload the equipment from the trailer, please arrive at 1:00 on Friday afternoon.
EXHIBITOR SETUP on FRIDAY:
Exhibitor setup on Friday will be open for everyone beginning at 3:30 PM. Please do not arrive at the show site any earlier as we will be busy getting everything setup and ready to go. Unfortunately, the added congestion of early arrivals delays this process.
REGISTRATION/START TIME: Daily registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. Briefings will begin at 7:15 AM with the first dog on the line immediately afterward.
CAMPERS: Please pay the $25 per night fee to Vickie with correct change or a check. The fee applies for cars, campers, tents, etc.

WORKERS: Please volunteer to work and fill out the enclosed worker form. We truly appreciate all the help we get at trials as we could not put on trials without the help of volunteers. We do have heavy equipment and just the addition of one or two additional volunteers at course change time makes all the difference in the world! We provide water and snacks for workers. If you have questions regarding ‘Trial Jobs’ a detailed description of each job is located at the following web site: http://inthezoneagility.homestead.com/jobs.html.
ENTRY ACCEPTANCE METHOD & OPENING DATE: Entries with postmarks BEFORE Opening date will not be accepted. Entry postmark date will be the determining factor for entry acceptance order. There is no need to overnight entries.
We reserve the right to refuse any entry. Anyone who is not currently in good standing with NADAC will not be allowed entry into the trial. As noted above, you can type in your entry information using the word premium. If you are not typing the information ( or using a label ) please write clearly..especially your email address. We send out confirmations, show instructions and results via email. Please fill in your dogs jump height. Many people forget to add this information and I usually end up guessing at a height. The software requires both your dogs height at the withers and the jump height in which your dog is entered. If you have changed your email, mailing address, phone number, or any other information, please highlight it on your entry form.
REFUNDS: There shall be no refunds for entries withdrawn in the event a dog and/or handler are dismissed from competition, regardless of the reason for such dismissal. Refunds are allowed if requested before the closing date. Refunds after the closing date will be honored only for bitches in season. A $5.00 processing fee per dog will be assessed for ANY refund. No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reasons of riots, civil disturbances, fire, snow, acts of God, public emergency, an act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond our control.
ENTRY CHANGES: Please read over your confirmations carefully. We all make errors and we will certainily make corrections as long as we are notified prior to the Monday before the trial as that is when scribe sheets and running orders are printed. Accepted entries may be changed up until the Monday before the trial. Email trial change requests to Vickie Vander Vere at vcubed@earthlink.net Any changes made after the Entry Change date will cost $5.00 per change regardless of who is at fault so please check your confirmation carefully! Sunday move-ups do not constitute an entry change and will be happily accommodated!
BAD CHECKS: Any person who writes a check for “insufficient funds” and/or otherwise a “bad check” will not be allowed to participate in this event until a money order or cashier’s check for the amount of the original check; plus $40.00 is received.
Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of NADAC rules and regulations, and agree to abide by all rules in effect at the time of this trial. A copy of the current Exhibitors Handbook may be downloaded free from the NADAC web site: www.nadac.com
MOVE-UPS between days will be permitted at this trial and must be submitted 10 minutes after the last scores are posted.

AWARDS: First through fourth place ribbons will be awarded for each jump height in all categories, levels, and classes (except Chances which has no placements). Qualifying ribbons will be awarded for any qualifying run.
SCORING SOFTWARE: We utilize the Agility Unscrambled program which allows e-mail confirmations and results dissemination. Please help in keeping our costs and your entry fees as low as possible by CLEARLY including your e-mail address on your entry form.
NON-JUMPING Classes: Veteran Handler: Handlers aged 60 years or older may opt to enter Touch N Go and/or Weavers as a Veteran Handler which allows you to receive 10% more standard course time. This division is for handlers only.
NADAC RULES: For more detailed information about new NADAC rules and classes go to www.nadac.com or http://inthezoneagility.homestead.com/nadac.html
IMPORTANT: Please check your dog’s NADAC registration number on your trial confirmation as soon as you receive it; also, please check the copy of the results posted at the trial. You should report any errors to the Trial Secretary immediately.
NADAC no longer hand checks for discrepancies in the records we send them at the end of the trial. Instead, they post the trial results to the files section of the NADACAgility@yahoogroups.com list within two weeks after receiving them from us. The trial results will remain on the list for at least thirty (30) days. Please accept the responsibility to review those results, and check that your registration number and qualifying points, as reported by the club, are correct. You can join the NADAC Agility list and set your settings to “no mail”. You’ll be able to view trial results and find discrepancies (if any) without receiving list mail. Contact NADAC only if your registration number or qualifying results are shown incorrectly on the list. Otherwise, you do not need to do anything.
Levels: Points earned at a higher level of a class, prior to the completion of the lower level title, will no longer be banked by NADAC for future use. As of June 1st, 2006 if a dog earns points in a level of a class that they are not eligible to title in, those points will not be added to the dog's records.
